An Investment Fund is a pooled investment which offers you low cost access to a variety of UK and international markets. Your money is pooled with a number of individuals and you are allocated shares in the fund in proportion to the amount you invest. Investment Funds are simple to understand. The share price you pay relates directly to the value of the fund. There is one common price for both buyers and sellers of the fund and the charges are shown separately. That way you know how much your investment is worth at any time so keeping track of your portfolio is easy. An Investment Company with Variable Capital (ICVC) is an umbrella structure. The BNY Mellon Investment Funds contains the sub-funds managed by Newton Investment Management.
