London, 27 March 2024: Newton Investment Management Limited (“Newton”), part of BNY Mellon Investment Management, today announces the appointment of Tjeerd (TJ) Voskamp as Global Head of Distribution in a newly created role.

Reporting to Euan Munro, CEO of Newton, Voskamp joins the Newton executive management committee. He will be responsible for driving institutional distribution strategies, as well as working closely with BNY Mellon Investment Management to leverage their distribution channels. The appointment supports the expansion of Newton as a global asset manager, with £83.9 billion of assets currently under management*.

Voskamp brings over two decades of experience in leading sizeable global distribution teams. He joins from J O Hambro Capital Management, where he was Head of Distribution for UK, Europe and Asia and was responsible for identifying international growth opportunities and overseeing the firm’s European distribution expansion. Prior to this, Voskamp led global sales teams covering both institutional and wholesale client channels at Aviva Investors, Schroders and Columbia Threadneedle.
