Newton Investment Management (Newton), part of BNY Mellon, today announced a new addition to its institutional business development team with the appointment of Matt Pumo as Head of UK Consultant Relations.
Matt will have a key role further driving the relationships with UK consultants, and looking to build on the existing strong relationships Newton enjoys across the consultant landscape.
He will join the Institutional Business Development and Marketing team, working alongside Ross Byron-Scott who has a global remit, and will report to Julian Lyne, recently appointed to Global Head of Distribution.
Matt has over 15 years’ experience in investment management and joins Newton from Neuberger Berman where he was responsible for developing investment consultant relations in the UK and Europe. He has also previously held roles at Gartmore Investment Management and Liontrust Asset Management.
